# Price Change July 2025 (Throughput fee)

Significant economic changes have impacted our operating costs over the past year.

Since June 2024, the United States has experienced an average inflation rate of approximately 2.8%. Additionally, the US dollar has weakened by about 5.7% against the British pound in the same period.

We host your system on AWS (Amazon Web Services), which has increased its costs by 23%. However, AWS is still the best in class for reliability and performance.

Since June 2024, cyber threats have escalated sharply in frequency and sophistication. According to public records, the first quarter of 2025 saw a 47% increase in weekly cyber attacks per organization compared to the same period in 2024, with ransomware attacks surging by 126%.

This period has also been marked by record-breaking data breaches and a substantial rise in financial losses, underscoring the urgent need for stronger cybersecurity.

These factors have increased our costs for technology, infrastructure, and support services, much of which are sourced internationally. The increase in cyberthreats has necessitated increased investment in security processes and technologies.

As a result, on August 1st, 2025, the Throughput fee rate will increase from 0.36% to 0.4%, and the monthly System fee ([DMPA](https://policies.salesorder.com/pricing/price-change-august-2024-throughput-fee#introducing-the-default-monthly-payment-amount-dmpa)) will increase from $300 to $450 for USA Customers, and £300 to £450 for UK Customers.

This adjustment reflects the combined impact of US inflation, the currency exchange rate movement, and the significant investment needed to manage cyber risks over the past twelve months and into the future.

We understand that price changes can be challenging, and we want to assure you that this decision was made only after careful consideration. The adjustment is necessary to maintain the high service, security, and innovation standards you expect from us.
